Vintage Glamour Gown Photo Shoot

Friday, May 28th, 2010 by WGSA

Take a look at this video that Lisa Merton of Culture Bridal Couture has put together. This behind the scenes shoot shows you the finer detail that goes into pulling off a truly inspiring couture gown.

The dresses are influenced by the sleek & truly beautiful 1930’s eveningwear, but have been updated for the modern-day bride; gorgeous French Chantilly laces and lots of intricate details combined with immaculate grooming, the team of collaborators (see below) pull together to showcase some amazing images.

They often have brides flying to Sydney from interstate for their their custom-made couture wedding gowns, so if you are interested just drop Lisa from Culture Bridal Couture an email with any questions.

Robot as Wedding Celebrant

Monday, May 17th, 2010 by WGSA

Another first for Japan as Satoko Inoue and Tomohiro Shibata (a robotics professor) are married by a robotic celebrant. There was apparently a man crouched in the bushes pushing the buttons, so we are going to assume that this somehow makes it a legally binding union.
