Today I thought I would turn my attention to wedding rings. Most of us girls on the journey down the aisle probably already have a rock on the finger to show off, but we still need to consider wedding rings.
I was fortunate enough to have an inkling that Mr M was going to pop the question, so off we went to a manufacturing jeweller in Adelaide, as I had a specific ring in mind. I had my hopes on a beautiful piece from Canturi Jewellers in Melbourne and many years before had been in store to try it on, so I knew that was the style I wanted. I took the photo of said ring to the manufacturing jeweller and they made it for us, at a considerably lower price!!!
Not only should you consider manufacturing jewellers but estate jewellery as well. A girlfriend of mine purchased her rings at a much reduced price and she loves the fact that they have been pre-loved and have history.
I will be returning to the same manufacturing jeweller to have our bands made and maybe another rock or two added to the engagement ring…if the budget permits!! Or, there is always room for anniversaries…
