Firstly, a little bit about myself. My darling partner, Mr M and I have just become engaged and I am now on my way to create the wedding of my dreams. Like most girls, we all dream of the day we will walk down the aisle and I know that everyone, even the most cynical and jaded out there, have an idea, a thought or an inkling in the back of their minds of what their special day will be like.

And so it begins…the endless lists, planning, budgets, organising venues & checklists.
You start by announcing your engagement, you get “the rock” and then after the engagement celebrations dies down the reality of everything sinks in!!
When shall we get married? Where shall we get married? Who shall we invite? What is our budget? Am I going to organise it myself or shall we hire a wedding planner?
And more importantly, how much weight will I have to lose by then!?! Yikes!!
I always imagined my wedding but had never considered all these things…I better get myself a diary and get cracking!

Invitations should reflect personal style rather than the trend-of-the-moment.
There are several key elements to consider when thinking about an invitation design. First, never underestimate the importance of the invitation…it sets the stage for the entire day.
Second, don’t be afraid to break convention! Use colours, words and materials that embody your personalities. Lastly, make sure your invitation components are “well-packaged” to avoid the mess of loose cards falling into the laps of your recipients.
